BX Disruptor Range
Our user filled BX Disruptor Range consists of 5 main types the BX-15, BX-30, BX-50, BX-90 and the SeAx BX-300.
The BX-90 has been extensively used subsea employed against a wide range of targets to neutralise and high order Live ordnance, both commercially and militarily.
The BX-15, BX-30 and BX-50 disrupters use our unique cartridge system (patent applied for) to enable pre-filling of cartridges before the mission.
Used primarily for Low Order Deflagration or High Order as determined by the End-User.
All BX products are fully pressure tested to 31 Bar and have been independently tested to verify their effectiveness.
All BX Disruptors can be supplied in a kit that comprises of an ROV adapter, a laser sighter and an NAU and being neutrally buoyant is suitable for placement in an ROV manipulator.
To facilitate accurate aiming all BX systems are fully compatible with the Cobra expendable targeting laser.
BX-15
The BX-15 is a cost effective, self-fill, easily transportable, IED/UXO mine disposal device that can be placed using Cobra MDS or by Mine Clearance Diver, ROV, UGV or UXO Personnel.
The BX-15 has an NEQ of 10gm when used as an EOD or UxO disarmer. During independent testing at Dynamit Nobel Laboratories the BX-15 consistently achieved penetration of 20mm through solid steel at 3mm dia.
The primary use of the BX-15 is for Low Order Deflagration of UxO.
To facilitate accurate aiming the system is compatible with the Cobra expendable targeting laser.
The system uses NONEL/NPED or Electric detonation systems and is fully compatible with all Cobra initiation system from manual handheld devices to disposable acoustic and reusable RF systems.
Can be deployed as a fish scarer prior to bubble screen placement or as an EOD disarming tool. Our Unique Cartridge system used on the BX-15 is currently at Patent Applied For status.
BX-30
The BX-30 is a cost effective, self-fill, easily transportable, IED/UXO mine disposal device that can be placed using Cobra MDS or by Mine Clearance Diver, ROV, UGV or UXO Personnel.
The BX-30 has a variable NEQ up to 50gs. It can be used to Neutralise targets of UXO either directly or through intermediate medium.
Using the toolkit of liner cartridges, the primary use of the BX-30 is for Low Order Deflagration of UxO.
During independent testing at Dynamit Nobel Laboratories the BX-30 consistently achieved penetration of 60mm through solid steel.
To facilitate accurate aiming the system is compatible with the Cobra expendable targeting laser.
The system uses NONEL/NPED or Electric detonation systems and is fully compatible with all Cobra initiation system from manual handheld devices to disposable acoustic and reusable RF systems. Various shapes of Liners and EFP’s are available in range different materials.

BX-50

The BX-90 has an NEQ of 850gs. It can be used to initiate a high-order detonation or using the toolkit of liners achieve neutralisation of the UXO either directly or through intermediate medium.
During independent testing at Dynamit Nobel Laboratories the BX-90 consistently achieved penetration of 420mm through solid steel.
The system uses NONEL/NPED or Electric detonation systems and is fully compatible with all Cobra initiation system from manual handheld devices to disposable acoustic and reusable RF systems.
It has a variable fill capability from 500gms to 1kgs NEQ.
Can be used as an Over-Pressure Neutralisation charge or Demolition Charge. Various shapes of Liners and EFP’s are available in range different materials.
BX-300
The SeAx is a cost effective, self fill, easily transportable IED/UxO mine disposal cutting charge that can be placed using Cobra MDS or Mine Clearance Diver, ROV, UGV or UxO prefessional Personnel.
The SeAx has an NEQ of 700gs. It can be used to cut pipes and cables and also used to neutralise UxO.
During independent testing at Dynamit Nobel Laboratories the BX-30 consistently achieved penetration of 50mm through solid steel.
To facilitate accurate aiming the system is compatible with the Cobra expendable targeting laser.
The system uses NONEL/NPED or Electric detonation systems and is fully compatible with all Cobra initiation systems from manual handheld devices to disposable acoustic and reusable RF systems.
The SeAx is made from Aluminium and rigid plastic with a weight in air of 1.2kg (empty).
The SeAx has an operational depth from 0 to 300m and fully pressure tested to 31 Bar.
